How Go City Paris works
Go City (formerly Go City Card / The Paris Pass) is a tourist-pass operator present in around fifty cities worldwide. In Paris it is not a single pass but two distinct products that you need to tell apart before buying, because they are not aimed at the same traveller.
In both cases you buy online, you receive a digital pass in an app, and you scan a QR code at each site's entrance. Go City's key trait is its logic of choice: where the Museum Pass opens all the national museums as a block and the Turbopass covers the whole trip, transport included, Go City makes you select a number of attractions (Explorer) or opens up unlimited access over a tight time window (All-Inclusive).
All-Inclusive vs Explorer: the difference that changes everything
This is the most misunderstood point about Go City. Both options carry the same brand but work in opposite ways. The table below sums up what really separates them:

Prices 2026
The Explorer starts at around €84 for 2 attractions of your choice (adult price), and the price rises with each site added. The All-Inclusive pass is priced per day, from 1 to 7 consecutive days. Here are the ballpark figures recorded in January 2026:

Go City covers a large share of the big Paris sites, but the line-up changes with the option and evolves over time. You will generally find:
- The Eiffel Tower (access subject to the operator's terms), often the flagship attraction that justifies the pass.
- Hop-on hop-off bus and Seine river cruise — two high-value inclusions.
- Major museums and monuments: depending on the selection, Arc de Triomphe, themed museums, experiences.
- Palace of Versailles and day trips depending on the current partners.
- Experiences and guided tours: Montmartre, neighbourhoods, tastings, family activities.
Value: the maths
The golden rule with Go City: don't pick cheap attractions. Because the pass price is fixed, every low-priced site dilutes your saving. Here is an example of a well-optimised Explorer 3-choice, with 2026 individual ticket prices — the same reasoning as our savings calculator:
- Eiffel Tower summit = €45
- Seine river cruise = €18
- Hop-on hop-off bus 24h = €35
Total in separate tickets: €98. A well-built Explorer 3-choice stays in that price range, with the bonus of 60 days of flexibility. Conversely, choosing three museums at €12-16 each (≈ €40 total) would make the Explorer pass more expensive than the tickets: that's the mistake to avoid.

Go City vs Turbopass vs Museum Pass
These three passes are not in the same league. The right choice mostly depends on your visiting pace and what you want to see:
- Go City — the pass for flexibility and a slow pace. The Explorer, valid for 60 days, is perfect if you cherry-pick 3-4 pricey sites and take your time. But transport is not included.
- Turbopass — the all-in pass: Eiffel Tower, 70+ attractions and transport zones 1-5 on a single ticket. The best value for an active visitor who strings together 3 or more sites a day.
- Paris Museum Pass — the 100% national museums and monuments pass (Louvre, Orsay, Versailles, Arc de Triomphe…), often the cheapest if your trip is centred on culture. It includes neither the Eiffel Tower nor transport.

The most flexible pass in Paris, and the only one truly designed for a relaxed visiting pace thanks to the Explorer and its 60-day validity. Its strength: you choose, you don't rush. Its limits: transport is never included, and the value calculation takes discipline (picking expensive sites). For a first, active "all-in" trip, the Turbopass is still simpler; but to wander around Paris cherry-picking your visits, Go City Explorer is an excellent choice.
